Terms & conditions
These terms apply to your use of ascmech.co.uk and to plumbing and heating services provided by ASC HEATING & PLUMBING.
Last updated: 25 May 2026
1. About us
These terms are between you and ASC HEATING & PLUMBING (“we”, “us”), a London-based plumbing and heating business. Contact: info@ascmech.co.uk, +44 (0) 7878 812946.
2. Website use
Content on this website is for general information only. It is not professional advice for your specific installation. You may view and print pages for personal use. You must not misuse the site (including attempting unauthorised access, introducing malware, or copying content for commercial reuse without permission).
3. Quotations and contracts
Written or emailed quotations are valid for the period stated on the quote. A contract is formed when you accept a quote in writing (including email) or when we commence work with your agreement. Verbal estimates are indicative unless confirmed in writing.
4. Pricing and payment
Prices are as agreed in your quote. Variations may apply if unforeseen work is required; we will seek your approval before proceeding where practicable. Payment terms are stated on invoices. Late payment may incur reasonable recovery costs permitted by law.
5. Appointments, access and safety
You agree to provide safe access to the property, utilities and relevant documentation (for example, previous gas records). You are responsible for informing us of asbestos, structural risks or other hazards known to you.
6. Workmanship and guarantees
We carry out work with reasonable skill and care. Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied equipment. Our labour guarantee period (if any) will be stated on your quote or invoice. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
7. Cancellations and delays
Please give reasonable notice to reschedule. If you cancel after materials are ordered or work is scheduled, you may be liable for reasonable costs already incurred. We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example, severe weather, supplier failure or access denied).
8. Liability
We maintain appropriate insurance for our trade. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (such as loss of profit). Our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter that cannot be limited by law is unaffected. Consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply to domestic customers.
9. Complaints
Please contact us promptly if you are unhappy with any aspect of our work. See our Transparency page for how we handle complaints.
10. Intellectual property
Website text, logos and images are owned by or licensed to us unless otherwise stated.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in Scotland or Northern Ireland where applicable.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page with the date below.
Note: This information is provided for general guidance and does not constitute legal advice. You may wish to have these policies reviewed by a qualified adviser for your specific circumstances.
